Jim Toman

Jim Toman was a notable American baseball player and coach who left a lasting mark on collegiate baseball. Born in a year making him 64 at the time of his passing, he dedicated much of his life to the sport both on the field and in the dugout. As a player, he competed for the NC State Wolfpack baseball team. Transitioning into a coaching career, Jim Toman held prominent roles with the Liberty Flames baseball and Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders baseball programs, as well as serving as an assistant at South Carolina. His leadership and dedication to college baseball impacted numerous athletes and programs throughout his career. Jim Toman passed away at the age of 64 following a battle with brain cancer.
